Terms & Conditions of Service
1 - Sending & Return of Your Source Media
You are advised to use a delivery service, requiring
"signature on delivery" and tracking, when sending your source media to us. Currently our collection facility can only receive items delivered by Royal Mail, please contact us if you need to use an alternative "signature on delivery" provider. We will use Royal Mail Special Delivery, (or an equivalent delivery service) providing signature on delivery, web-based tracking facilities and insurance. Any disputes regarding loss or damage of your goods during transit should be taken up directly with the delivering company.
We will send the digitised material for your satisfaction first and once we have received your confirmed receipt we send the original source media separately. This ensures that at least one good copy of your content is safe in one location and should reduce any anxieties you may have regarding the risk of loss during the delivery process.
2 - Safety of Your Source Material
Save Your past Ltd will take all reasonable care and attention to ensure the safety of your source media but we cannot accept liability.
3 - Preparation
Photos should be prepared by you for best results, i.e. in the preferred order you would like them presented. If we receive the photos without any specific categorising they will be scanned as received. Once imported to your computer package they can be easily indexed. We do a gentle environmentally friendly dust removal before scanning and additional enhancements on request.
4 - DVD Player Compatibility
The DVD disks that we produce are high quality industry standard DVD-R or optionally DVD+R disks. However please note that like all other duplication providers we cannot guarantee compatibility with all DVD and Blu-ray players.
5 - Your Responsibility
It is the customers full and total legal responsibility that they are the source media’s copyright owner or have written permission from the copyright owner for duplication to be undertaken by Save Your Past ltd. Save Your Past Ltd, their employees and directors cannot accept responsibility for any copyright infringement. It is also the responsibility of the customer that all source media is appropriate for duplication and Save Your Past Ltd has the right to refuse to carry out any work if they consider it of an inappropriate nature.
6 – Save Your Past Ltd Privacy & Confidentiality Policy
We promise to respect the privacy & confidentiality of your identity and source media. We will not supply your contact information to any third party companies.
From time to time we may email you with special offers and other related news. However, you can remove yourself from our mailing list by simply replying to any sent message from Save Your Past Ltd.
7 - Our Rights to update our web site, Information & Prices
It is important for us to be able to alter our information and pricing at any time. We therefore reserve the right to modify our web site, service levels and prices at any time. We will however honour your order should it be placed up to 2 weeks after the change. We will apply either the price at the time of order or our new prices (whichever is lower in your favour).
8 - Disclaimers
Save Your Past Ltd will not be liable for any economic losses (including, without limitation, loss of revenues, profits, contracts, business or anticipated savings), any loss of goodwill or reputation, or any special, indirect or consequential damages (however arising, including negligence) arising out of or in connection with this Agreement.
9 - Methods and Terms of Payment
All prices include VAT at current rate unless specified otherwise.
We accept Cheques made payable to "Save Your Past Ltd", and payment must be made in full on completion of the work.
10 – Satisfaction
We want you to be happy so that you will tell others. If you are unhappy in any way then don’t hesitate to contact us so that we can rectify the situation. If you are still not satisfied then we offer a no quibble money back guarantee. Return to us any discs we have sent you and on receipt we will send you a full refund less any postage charges.
